Black & White Butterfly Cropped Jacket

This vintage tweed fabric has tiny bits of color in it but mostly reads as black and white, a neutral go-to. I created a mash-up design from a vintage 60's jacket pattern and a 90's pattern sleeve, then added the black butterfly peep-toes cut off of a pair of vintage pumps I got years ago during my university years. I always loved those shoes and giving those butterflies a reincarnation from shoe to coat felt like a tip of my hat to those who had held and worn them before.
This jacket is a great topper for the in-between seasons, when it's still a bit chilly but ditching the winter gear. And it's perfect for winery weekends, or dinner with your girlfriends.
