Vintage Satin Gown Ready for Remodel

Although this gown is stunning as is, my specialty is reimagining clothing in order to modernize or personalize it. This gown is in extraordinarily good shape, but certainly has some dated features. Right away in my mind, I pictured Stephanie Seymour in the Guns N Roses November Rain video, and that is my take on an update: remove the sleeves entirely, and cut the skirt into a super-dramatic high/low, so that you can show off the rather 80's vibe of it--the shaped waist and gathering, the appliqué on the bodice? Begging for a rockstar vibe, imho.
